From April 19 to September 7, 2025, the entire Disneyland Park will resonate with a thousand and one notes for the Disney Music Festival, a unique event, 100% original, 100% Disneyland Paris, presented to us by Matthieu Robin, creative director.
What is the spirit of the Disney Music Festival?
First of all, we are going to reconnect with the notion of a festival at Disneyland Paris, and this around music. There is not a single Disney experience that is not linked to it, whether it is the films, the cartoons or the experiences that can be had in our Disney Parks. Music is part of our DNA.
We also wanted to pay tribute to the French tradition of the Fête de la Musique. It is a very strong inspiration for our festival, with its popular side, in the noblest sense of the term, in which music plays the leading role. On the day of the Fête de la Musique, everyone, professional and amateur, can come and practice music. What makes this day so strong is that everyone can take to the streets with their instrument or just their voice, and that we can share unique moments together around music. It is from this exchange that emotion is born.
So we took up this idea of going down into the street to make music, except that this street, for us, is the entire Disneyland Park, with no fewer than 12 activations spread across the five Lands that make it up, and this throughout the day. It will be a real profusion of meetings, music and sharing.

Can you give us a preview of this musical journey that awaits us through Disneyland Park?
We will start in the morning on Main Street, USA with the welcome of Mickey who, for the occasion, will wear a special outfit designed internally by Malika Sif and her team, with very acidulous colors. He will be present on the balcony of Main Street Station to welcome all our visitors to the sound of original music written for the occasion. It is one of the trademarks of Disneyland Paris: we love to celebrate music by creating our own songs. Mickey will be present every morning, as well as Minnie, who will walk without a specific goal, according to her fantasy on Main Street, USA in the company of Minnie's Fanfare.

It's not just Mickey and his friends. The characters from Big Classics will also be there.
Mary Poppins and Bert will join the "Pearly Band" under the gazebo in Town Square. This unique ensemble, straight out of the film, will bring together five musicians live who will accompany the arrival of our visitors by performing a repertoire from both the 1964 Classic and the Mary Poppins Returns, released in 2018.

Just like in the early days of Disneyland Paris!
It's a great joy! It's a wonderful tradition of Disney Parks that goes back to Walt Disney himself! For the occasion, Minnie will position herself as the charismatic leader of this Fanfare unlike any other, composed of 12 live and acoustic musicians, who will perform several times a day. Minnie will also have a new outfit, which will reflect the festival's aesthetic, very complementary to that of Mickey.

Our journey continues to Central Plaza… with Goofy!
Dingo, for his part, will be the conductor. Only... the orchestra is not there. So he will find himself alone facing the Sleeping Beauty Castle and the orchestra will be personified by the fountains of the Castle. He will then take part in the game, a little in the spirit of the Animated Films dear to Walt Disney, during a "comico-symphonic" performance of which he has the secret!

Donald and Daisy will also be there
We will find them in the Italian part of Fantasyland. That is why they will wear outfits inspired by the Commedia dell'arte, a bit like Harlequin and Columbine. For us, they will play a kind of sketch accompanied by an accordionist live which will take up the greatest themes of Disney heritage such as “Bella Notte”.

We will also travel through time…
Indeed. We will have an animation with Rapunzel and Flynn at the Fantasyland level, behind The Old Mill, accompanied by a folk group of 4 musicians, in the spirit of a village festival. The inspiration for this meeting around the themes of the composer Alan Menken came to us from the scene in the film in which Rapunzel, Pascal, Flynn and Maximus arrive in the kingdom of Corona and discover the life of a village in full celebration.

The Disney Music Festival is also a journey through the cultures of the world.
Absolutely. South America will be in the spotlight with "Miguel's Fiesta Latina" in Frontierland. It's a mariachi band gathered around Miguel, the hero of Coconut who, for the first time at Disneyland Paris, will be wearing his mariachi outfit. We are really very happy to see him again with his new wardrobe.
Vaiana will welcome our visitors to Adventureland. It will be a musical encounter around dance. This will be the opportunity for Vaiana to dance with our visitors and teach them some of the emblematic steps of the island of Motunui.
And still in Adventureland, we will have the great pleasure of finding the "Timon's Matadance", created on the occasion of the Lion King and Jungle Festival in 2019. Of course Timon, Pumbaa and Zazu will be there, but since we are in the context of a music festival, we will also have percussionists live who will join the soundtrack of the show. This will bring a new dimension to this experience already acclaimed by our visitors at the time, and which we are delighted to find again this year.

What will happen on the Discoveryland side?
We will have a meeting with Stitch at the Arcade Beta which is located in Videopolis and who, as you can imagine, will surprise us with his very personal tribute to music!
Not forgetting the “Disney Music Hits Concert” at Videopolis Theatre, a rock concert for the whole family! There will be 11 artists on stage, 6 instrumentalists and 5 singers, all in live, for a real review, a real tribute to the timeless Disney classics, but not only. It will be a journey through the history of Disney music, from the early years to the very latest hits like "Nobody Like U" fromRed Alert or even “Try Everything”, the song by Gazelle in Zootopia, through the golden age of animated musicals in the 1990s, all revisited in a “pop-rock” way. So there will be something for all ages, all generations and all tastes around this incredible musical heritage of Disney…
How are all these events connected?
As you can see, this festival is a tribute to the diversity of music, which we will celebrate in all its forms. The link between all these activations will be the original song that we are creating. It will not be a single broadcast uniformly in the park. On the contrary, it will be available in 12 different versions, 12 arrangements, each with its own orchestration, for each of the activations in which we will be able to participate. It will be like a logo, a mantra that we will find across all these cultural variations, and in all the diversity of music.
Another surprise awaits our visitors, young and old, at the end of the day. We invite everyone to Central Plaza for the "Le Finale du Grand Orchestre". This will be the sum of all the day's activations gathered for a unique moment. All the artists will then meet in the same place to celebrate the richness of music and the idea of sharing. Everyone, in a kind of symbiosis, will transform our song into a true anthem. There will be a kind of alliance, of complementarity between all the energies and all the universes that have been expressed previously in the service of a spectacular finale, like the high point of a day already rich in musical emotions.
And after our new night show, Disney Tales of Magic* (Disney and the magic of tales), we will find Mickey who will be present on the first floor of the station to greet our visitors to the sound of our original song in a final new arrangement. What a way to end the day in style!

This program looks very interactive!
It is very important to us that visitors are involved in this festival. We have imagined all these activations so that our visitors can feel involved, like the Fête de la Musique that inspired us. Musicians and Disney Characters will come to meet visitors, to share their world. They will be able to dance, sing and party together.
With all these very diverse activations, the Disney Music Festival offers a beautiful balance between the intimate and the spectacular.
We all remember moments that impressed us, but also small details that touched us. We were very attentive to the organization of our activations in order to truly "pace" the day by moving from one energy to another. In a Disney Park, it is very important to have very strong points of contact with our visitors, and this is primarily achieved through our Cast Members. There are always large-scale shows like Disney Tales of Magic, but we take great care to at the same time provide more intimate moments that are also part of the Disney experience.
It is also a happy encounter between authenticity and creation.
We wanted to be sincere and authentic in our approach. The idea is to preserve the identity and personality of each style to better immerse our visitors in the heart of the different cultures celebrated in our films and in our parks. When we discover Miguel alongside real mariachis next to the restaurant Coconut House, it makes sense. Same for Rapunzel and her folk musicians in Fantasyland. We are extending in music what was created architecturally by the Imagineers in 1992. And at the same time, more than 30 years later, we are still able to reinvent ourselves, to create something new.
This is the message of our grand finale and it is in this direction that our musical teams are working: Roger Butterley and Tim Heintz, who created the music for the Jungle Rhythm. We are currently working together to ensure that the identity of each musical universe is respected while complementing the others, in order to create something completely new. It is as if we are bringing together completely different bubbles that finally explode in a global union. It is a metaphor for the world, via music.
To imagine and stage such a program, it is a real team effort.
As you can see, the key word for this festival is abundance. It is an extremely rich program, with all sorts of activities: small moments of surprise, unexpected entertainment or real events on a larger scale like our big end-of-day event with nearly 80 participants!
For this we benefit from a formidable team: the festival is directed by our directors Christine Mellet and Louisa Kriouche, and we also find Arnaud Feredj at the helm of "Timon's Matadance" which he created in 2019. The production is ensured by Floriane Fajoux and her teams, with the assistance of all the technical teams of Disneyland Paris.
The musical program is led by Samuel Séné, conductor, and Guillaume Coignard, head of the music department. We are also lucky to meet Thomas Maurion, an author with whom we regularly collaborate, and who lends his pen to the benefit of our various activations throughout the park.

The Disney Music Festival is not just about meetings. The party also continues through dedicated derivative products and even culinary experiences.
To visually frame this entire festival, Thomas Gallou, Scenographer at Disneyland Paris, developed… a superb graphic charter that uses the acidulous colors and gradients found on Mickey and Minnie's costumes, and of course on the event's logo. It was a great collaboration with all the entities involved. This graphic charter created by the Shows department has been infused into the style of the communication. We also worked a lot with our Merchandise colleagues to create 100% products related to the festival, stuffed animals and various objects. It's a way of extending the experience and paying tribute to music in all its forms, including through catering, with all sorts of souvenir products in the colors of the festival. We were very lucky to have formed these collaborations. For once, we can really say that we worked together!
