Twenty years after their arrival at Disneyland Paris, FastPasses will officially disappear this summer! They will be replaced by Disney Premier Access, a paid system allowing access to the flagship attractions of the Disney Parks.
This is news that is making a lot of waves in the Disney fan community. FastPasses arrived at Disneyland Paris at the end of the 90s and made it possible to reduce waiting time at certain attractions by reserving a free time slot and thus obtaining a very useful skip-the-line when waiting times were long. . This system, although not always understood by visitors, was widely used and appreciated. Its main disadvantage was, as a result, to increase the "normal" queue.
When reopening in 2020, the FastPasses had not been reactivated, nor when reopening this summer. It is therefore confirmed, it was a final judgment.
A rather high variable price
Disney Premier Access will be offered between €8 and €15 per person and per attraction (price probably varying according to the date), and for a single passage; a significant financial cost to be added to the stay and any meals.
At Disneyland Park, the attractions concerned will be:
- Autopia
- Big Thunder Mountain
- Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
- Peter Pan's Flight
- HyperSpace Mountain
- Star Tours: The Adventure Continues
As for the Walt Disney Studios, it will be:
- Ratatouille: The Attraction
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
We are always looking for ways to improve the experience of our visitors. The return of the Standby Pass, the introduction of Disney Premier Access and each new digital enhancement in our Parks and Hotels, are part of our commitment to providing innovative products and services that always take into account all opinions, do not content not to meet our visitors' expectations, but to exceed them.

The FastPass terminals and signage are already being dismantled or transformed, as evidenced by these photos from DLPReport:
The exact launch date for Disney Premier Access has yet to be announced. It is then that we will be able to appreciate the reception and the enthusiasm of visitors for this new service.
