It's now official, Disneyland Paris will reopen on June 17, 2021 after several months of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios will be open to the public, along with Disney's Newport Bay Club Hotel and Disney Village. Disney's Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, closed for several months following the new theming of Disney's Hotel New York, will open on June 21, 2021 (reservations open from May 18, 2021).
Both parks open
From June 17, the first day of reopening, and until July 3, the hours will be as follows:
- Disneyland Park: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Walt Disney Studios from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Then from July 4 until September 3, 2021, the schedules will be slightly modified:
- Disneyland Park from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Walt Disney Studios from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Note that the moments of magic will be back every day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., but only at Disneyland Park.
The daily reception capacity will be limited to 28,000 people for the 2 Parks, i.e. 30% of the usual capacity. Tickets will need to be reserved in advance.
With this reopening, discover the Cars Road Trip attraction (replacing Studio Tram Tour at Walt Disney Studios) and the "Disney Junior Dream Factory" show from July 1, still at Walt Disney Studios.
Hotels are also preparing to reopen
Gradually, it will be possible to stay again in Disney Hotels:
- starting June 17 at Disney's New Port Bay Club
- starting June 21 at Disney's Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel
- from 1er July at Disney's Hotel Cheyenne
- starting July 13 at Disney's Ranch Davy Crockett
Disney's Sequoia Lodge is not expected to reopen until October 2021. The Disneyland Hotel will remain closed for several more months for a renovation before the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris in 2022.
Gradual reopening of Disney Village
Four reopening phases have been decided for Disney Village:
- May 19: Cinema Gaumont Disney Village
- June 9: Restaurant Vapiano
- June 17: Rest of Disney Village and the balloon PanoraMagic
The World of Disney store will be open the following weekends from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.: May 22 and 23, May 29 and 30, June 5 and 6, and June 12 and 13. And since the Visitors car park will remain closed on these weekends, 1 hour of parking in the Indigo car park (Disney Village) will be offered for any purchase.
The Café Mickey and New Style Sandwiches restaurants will remain closed while Annette's Dinner will welcome customers for lunch service.
Hygiene measures still in effect
These reopenings will be accompanied by appropriate health and safety measures, reinforced compared to what we experienced in the summer of 2020. Unfortunately, the mask will still be required (from 6 years old).
